Anna Palmén
Anna Palmén is a fashion designer from Helsinki, Finland. Graduated from Lahti Institute of Design, Bachelor of Culture and Arts -Fashion Design in 2020. Currently Palmén is doing her Master’s degree in Fashion, Clothing and Textile design at the well-known Aalto University.
In her BA-level thesis she made a clothing collection combined with using augmented reality. Palmén is also known from Project Runway Finland 2023 season 3, where she was in 6/10 episodes.
Her interests are slow fashion, sustainability and custom-made work.
For Palmén, the quality and durability of the garment is most important when designing clothing, and most of the time in her work, she tries to avoid fabric waste. She has also previously studied dressmaking and thus she is well mastered at the custom-made working. For these reasons, as a designer, she is interested in a variety of unique custom designs and slow fashion collections.
